“What the world needs” is an appeal to all designers who think and act with a sense of social responsibility to formulate their concerns and ideas visually, to bring attention to important issues, encourage reflection, take a stand and present possible solutions. The panel looks forward to fresh thinking that fosters a culture of dialogue and critical thought.

All the submitted contributions will be presented at www.wasbrauchtdiewelt.net and the Forum Mozartplatz at an exhibition (opening 14.5.) that will be accompanied by a publication. The best entries will also be featured in a full-page section of the Sunday edition of the Austrian daily newspaper "Die Presse." By submitting their entries, the creators of the individual contributions agree to have their work shown on this Website, at the exhibtion in the Forum Mozartplatz, and published in “Die Presse am Sonntag” in the case of an honorary mention. Of course the respective designers will be mentioned by name.
